Montreal-based multimedia studio Moment Factory have crafted a world-leading reputation for blending light, technology and feeling to reinvent iconic locations and unshackle imaginations.
Their installations and experiences have enchanted audiences from New York to Tokyo, and they’ve created mesmerising stage shows for artists like Madonna, Jay-Z, Muse, Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish. Now, they’re hitting Adelaide to turn one of our most beloved green spaces into a wondrous forest.
In an Australian first, Moment Factory will reimagine Adelaide Botanic Garden with a series of installations that use lights, sound, video and special effects that amplify the voice of the natural world.
Prepare to have your sense of wonder and fascination rekindled by some of the most exciting creative minds in the business.

Masks are mandatory and must be worn to gain admission and for the duration of the event. Please consider our environment and come prepared with your own mask.
Please only arrive at the Ginkgo Gate at your allocated session time, early admissions will not be possible.
If you are early, you can relax in the Light Cycles Bar – at the Frome Road entry – and have something to eat and drink, until your entry time.

Please be advised this event includes smoke, haze, dark pathways, uneven terrain and flashing lights.
This event will go ahead rain or shine. We would recommend wearing adequate clothing and footwear suited to the time of year and weather conditions on the day for an outdoor event and bring an umbrella in case of rain. There is no cloakroom for this event.

ACCESSIBILITY
Assistance dogs are allowed in the Botanic Garden. Adelaide Botanic Garden is easy to navigate with paved and bitumen paths. There is a small section of path that is not easily accessible via wheelchair but can be by-passed. Accessible toilets are located within the event.

This event is a curated immersive one-way linear path - please allow 60 minutes to enjoy the full Light Cycles experience.
Light Cycles Bar
Wine, beer, burgers, pizzas, doughnuts and even GLOWING fairy floss! Make sure you check out the Light Cycles bar before or after your session. Our staff will be slinging hot and cold cocktails from 5.00pm, or you can raise a toast to the end of lockdown with a glass of Yalumba wine. Prefer beer? Try Sparkke's Carbon Zero Hero IPA, the official beer of Illuminate Adelaide as well as hard lemonade, pale ales, and ginger beer. Kids young and old can enjoy fairy floss on light up sticks, but if you feel like something more substantial (it's more or less dinner time after all!), we have burgers from Gang Gang, wood fired pizzas by Wild and donuts from The Market Black .
