Each July, Illuminate Adelaide transforms the city’s streets, laneways, and buildings through collaborations with cultural institutions, local businesses, and the entrepreneurial community.
In just five years, Illuminate has become one of Australia’s fastest-growing cultural events - delivering one of the most diverse and largest free programs in the country.
More than a spectacle. Illuminate welcomed more than 1.5 million attendances in 2025 alone, including over 27,000 interstate and international visitors, generating $61.4 million back to our local South Australian economy.
