Patch Theatre has been expanding the minds of South Australia’s children for nearly half a century. They’ve travelled the globe, but there’s one frontier they’ve never explored: the Art Gallery of South Australia.
With the support of the James and Diana Ramsay Foundation, Patch will commandeer The Studio at AGSA for the first time. Drawing inspiration from a work by Czech-Australian Surrealist Dušan Marek, a painting concurrently on display in AGSA’s major exhibition Surrealists at Sea, Patch will create a glowing interactive sea floor. Art lovers of all ages are invited to immerse themselves in this Surrealist experience and ‘draw in light.
