Set within the elegant surrounds of Garçon Bleu, this exclusive cocktail event will see the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra perform throughout the space, creating a captivating atmosphere where sound and flavour intertwine.

Guests will be welcomed with a curated selection of canapés, from delicate SA kingfish crudo to refined French-inspired creations, paired with premium beverages including Pommery Champagne, fine wines, and signature cocktails. As the evening unfolds, the iconic Sofitel Candle Lighting Ritual will illuminate the room, with musicians performing beneath a warm glow of candlelight, evoking a truly sensory experience.

Born and raised in the fast-paced energy of Mumbai, Shweta comes from a humble background where resilience and ambition shaped her early years. Choosing to follow her true passion, she stepped away from high-end UPSC studies to pursue hotel management—an unconventional decision that paid off as she graduated as a college topper with four gold medals.

Her culinary journey spans across renowned hospitality brands including JW Marriott, Radisson, QT, ibis, Oaks, and Sofitel, giving her a diverse foundation across both luxury and mid-scale hotel environments. This breadth of experience has refined her adaptability, creativity, and leadership in the kitchen.

Married to an Executive Chef, hospitality truly runs in her blood. Together, they share a deep-rooted passion for the industry, creating a home where food, discipline, and excellence are a way of life.

As a proud mother to a 10-year-old daughter, she leads by example—demonstrating dedication, hard work, and the courage to chase dreams, inspiring the next generation to do the same.

Her commitment to excellence has earned her recognition as a finalist at the HM Awards in 2020, 2022, and 2025. After relocating from Wellington, New Zealand to Adelaide in late 2024, she continues to explore new opportunities and expand her horizons.

Having honed her craft alongside exceptional chefs, she now channels her experience into mentoring and guiding emerging talent—passing on her knowledge and passion to shape the future of the culinary world.
